Once your policy is active, YouSet will email you your proof of insurance, within 48 hours after you check out. At that time, all your policy documents will also be available in your YouSet account.
This applies if you just bought a policy and need proof of insurance for a landlord, car dealership or lender.
What happens after you check out
- A YouSet broker reviews your policy
- Once your policy is active, within 48 hours, YouSet emails you a proof of insurance
- You also get an email letting you know that all your policy documents are in your YouSet account
What your proof of insurance shows
- Your policy number
- Your coverage
- The date your policy starts and ends
- For car insurance: the name and address of your lender or leasing company, if your car is financed or leased
- For home insurance: the name and address of your mortgage lender

Can I get proof of insurance before my policy is reviewed?
No, you will not be able to access proof of insurance until a YouSet broker has reviewed your policy and it is active.
