No, checking out a quote doesn't confirm your policy right away. Your policy is only confirmed once a YouSet licensed broker has reviewed your file, which usually happens within 48 hours. If everything is in order, YouSet activates your policy, and your policy documents become available in your YouSet account.
This applies if you just bought a policy online with YouSet.
What happens after checkout
- You get a confirmation email and text with your order details
- A YouSet licensed broker reviews your file
- If everything is correct, YouSet activates your policy and sends you proof of insurance
- Your policy documents become available in your YouSet account within 24 to 48 hours
- Your first payment is taken on the date in your payment schedule
If something needs to change
- If more information is needed, a YouSet broker will contact you to finalize the details
- If your price changes after the review, YouSet tells you the new price. Your policy is activated once you confirm it.
