Overview
You can cancel your policy at any time in your YouSet account. If you cancel before your expiry date, your insurance company usually charges a cancellation fee. You get a confirmation email within 48 hours.
This applies if you have a YouSet policy and want it to end before your expiry date.
Before you cancel
You may be able to keep your policy and avoid the fee:
- Moving? Transfer your home insurance to your new address. See our Transfer your home insurance to your new home article
- New car? Transfer your car insurance to your new car. See our Transfer your car insurance policy to a new car article
- Price too high? Get a new quote. YouSet compares prices from other insurance companies to find you a better one
- Have home and car insurance with different companies? Bundling them with the same insurance company can save you up to 15%
