Overview
If your insurance company sent you a cancellation notice for a missed payment, you can keep your policy by paying the amount on the notice directly to your insurance company before the due date. You'll find the notice in your YouSet account, under Documents.
This applies if you missed a payment and your insurance company sent you a notice saying your policy will be cancelled if you don't pay on time.
Important: Pay before the due date on your notice. If you don't, your insurance company will cancel your policy.
Why you got a cancellation notice
When a payment is missed, your insurance company tries to collect it again a few times. How many times, and over how long, depends on the insurance company. If the payment still doesn't go through, your insurance company will send you a notice saying your policy will be cancelled.
How to find the amount and due date
- Sign in to your YouSet account
- Under your policy, select Documents
- Open the notice from your insurance company. It shows the amount you owe and the due date.
