Overview
If your monthly payment was higher than the quote you received, this is often because your insurance company has split your yearly price into 10 or 11 payments instead of 12. When that happens, each monthly payment is a bit higher, but your yearly total still matches your quote. To check, compare the yearly price on your policy declaration with the yearly price in your quote.
How to check your yearly price
- Sign in to your YouSet account
- Under your insurance policy, select Documents
- Open your policy declaration and find your yearly price, also called your premium
- Compare it with the yearly price in your quote
What your result means
- If your yearly total matches your original quote, your price hasn’t changed, your insurance company simply split the payments differently, for example into 10 or 11 payments, or with 2 or 3 months in your first payment. To see exactly how your payments are scheduled, check your payment schedule under Documents in your YouSet account.
