Overview
You can add or remove a co-insured on your home insurance policy in your YouSet account. A co-insured is another person named on your policy who shares your coverage, like a spouse or partner who lives with you.
Anyone related by blood is automatically covered and doesn't need to be added as co-insured.
This applies if you have a home insurance policy with YouSet.

Frequently asked questions
Does the co-insured need to live with me?
Yes, in most cases a co-insured needs to live at the address on your policy.
Will adding or removing a co-insured change my price?
Usually not. If your price does change, YouSet emails you the new price before the change is final.
Is a co-insured still covered after they're removed?
No. Once the change is done, the person you removed is no longer covered by your policy. If they still need insurance, they can get their own quote at YouSet.ca.
