YouSet customers who already have one insurance product with us (home or car) are invited to complete a quote for a second product and proceed to checkout. In return, we’ll send you a $50 Amazon gift card.

What is a checkout?

A checkout is the final step to secure your quote, which includes all the additional information required, such as the effective date of the policy and payment information, so we can verify your quote.

How do I qualify for this offer?

You qualify for our Bundle Promotion by using this link to complete a quote and proceed to checkout for a second product. Please note that, to be eligible for the promotion, you must get a quote using this link.

Can I proceed to checkout for any product?

To be eligible for the Bundle Promotion, you need to complete a quote and proceed to checkout for a product you don’t already have with YouSet. 

Example 1: If you already have your home insurance with YouSet, you need to complete a quote and proceed to checkout for car insurance to be eligible for the promotion. If you proceed to checkout for a second home insurance quote, you won’t be eligible. 

Example 2: If you already have your car insurance with YouSet, you need to complete a quote and proceed to checkout for home insurance to be eligible for the promotion. If you proceed to checkout for a second car insurance quote, you won’t be eligible.

Do I need to buy the policy to get my gift card?

No, you don’t have to buy the policy to receive your gift card. That being said, please keep in mind that it’s easier for us to negotiate better rates for you when you have multiple insurance policies with us.

How do I get my $50 gift card?

Once you have proceeded to checkout for a second product, your gift card will be sent to the main email address linked to your account. For specific timelines, please refer to the schedule outlined in the Terms and Conditions. Please note that, to be eligible for the promotion, you must get a quote using this link.

When will I receive my gift card?

After you complete the checkout of your second product, our team will review your eligibility for the promotion. Once approved, you will receive your Amazon gift card by email.

The full process – including review, approval, and delivery of the gift card – can take up to 5 months. Please review the Terms and Conditions below for the exact reward payment timeline.

I’m already insured elsewhere. Can I still participate in the promotion?

Of course! Yes, you can switch from your existing insurance provider to YouSet anytime, even if you’re in the middle of a policy. If you prefer to wait until your renewal date before making the switch, you can complete a quote with us up to 6 months in advance. 

I already have my home and car insurance with YouSet. Why is this promotion not applicable to me?

Loyal clients like you are important to us. Our existing customers save on average 29% on their home and auto insurance every year. This means that your savings when you have 2 or more products with us may represent hundreds of dollars saved every year. 

This promotion incentivizes newer clients to get a second product with us. As more of our clients get both their home and car insurance with us, we build better negotiating power with insurers. This means we can then negotiate better rates for you at your next renewal. 

Terms and conditions

*This Promotion is offered by YouSet Insurance (“YouSet”, “we,” “our” or “us”).

Effective Start Date: The Promotion is effective starting on September 30, 2024 at 12PM EST.

Eligibility: To be eligible for the Promotion, the person must either:

• already have an active home or car insurance policy with YouSet; 
• be a legal resident of Canada;
• be the age of majority, or older, in their province/territory of residence at the time of participation; and
• meet the requirements set out below. (a “ Client”).

Qualifying Action: To participate in the Promotion, eligible Clients must complete a quote and proceed to checkout for a product they don’t already have with YouSet using the Bundle Promo Link. A checkout is the final step to secure your quote and includes all the additional information required, such as the effective date of the policy and payment information, so we can verify your quote. The Bundle Promo Link must be used to join the promotion. If you don’t use the Bundle Promo Link, we won’t honour the Promotion.

Gift Card: Eligible clients will receive their $50 Amazon gift card (the “Gift Card”) within sixty (60) days after the period in which you completed a quote for a second product (home or car) and proceeded to checkout. Gift Cards will be issued in Canadian currency.

Gift cards will be sent according to the following schedule:

• Completion period: January 1 – March 31, Gift card will be received by: May 31
• Completion period: April 1 – June 30, Gift card will be received by: August 31 
• Completion period: July 1 – September 30, Gift card will be received by: November 30 
• Completion period: October 1 – December 31, Gift card will be received by: February 28

General: YouSet reserves the right to cancel, amend, withdraw or restrict this Promotion at any time without notice. YouSet is the sole arbiter of these rules and any other issue arising under this Promotion. If YouSet suspects fraudulent or abusive behaviour, gaming of the system or a violation of these terms, YouSet reserves the right to remove all Promotions from your YouSet account(s) and take any other action it deems appropriate including, but not limited to, refusing to send the Gift Card, or closing your YouSet account(s). This Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or promotions, unless specified herein. An invitation to participate in this Promotion does not provide assurance that you will be accepted as a customer of YouSet. This Promotion is only valid for individuals in the location cited above who otherwise meet our eligibility requirements. Our standard terms relating to your use of YouSet and any agreements that apply to your YouSet account(s) each apply and are not affected in any way by this Promotion.
