We’re happy to reward customers who help spread the word about YouSet with Amazon gift cards.

Here’s how it works: every time someone uses your unique referral link to complete a full quote and proceed to checkout, you’ll both receive an Amazon gift card as our way of saying thank you.

Who should I refer?

Anyone who currently has home and/or car insurance and wants to make sure they’re getting the best rate. Many people don’t know you can actually switch your insurance anytime – you don’t have to wait for your next renewal. Help your friends start saving today!

What is a checkout?

A checkout is the final step of the quoting process, which includes all the additional information required, such as the effective date of the policy and payment information, so we can verify the quote. No purchase required.

How much can I earn?

You’ll receive an Amazon gift card for each friend who completes a quote and proceeds to checkout, including all the additional information required to verify and finalize it. Each friend will also receive an Amazon gift card.

The amount you earn depends on the product your friend chooses to quote with us:

1. Homeowner quote: $75
2. Car quote: $25
3. Condo quote: $25
4. Tenant quote: $25

If they complete a bundle quote (homeowner, tenant, or condo plus car insurance) and proceed to checkout, you’ll both get a gift card for up to $100.

Who can participate?

To qualify, your friends must not already be YouSet clients and must use your unique referral link.

When will we receive our gift cards?

We’ll notify you by email when someone uses your link to complete a quote and proceed to checkout. Our team will then review the referral. Once approved, both you and your referral will receive the Amazon gift card by email. The full process, including review, approval, and sending the gift cards, takes up to 30 days.

Is there a limit to the number of people I can refer?

There is no limit to the number of people you can refer.

Terms and conditions

*This Promotion is offered by YouSet Insurance (“YouSet”, “we,” “our” or “us”).

Eligibility for the Referrer: To be eligible for the Promotion, the person making the referral must:

1. be a legal resident of Canada;
2. be the age of majority, or older, in their province/territory of residence at the time of participation;
3. be an active YouSet client; and
4. meet the requirements set out below.

Eligibility for the Referee: To be eligible for the Promotion, the referred individual must:

1. be a legal resident of Canada;
2. be the age of majority, or older, in their province/territory of residence at the time of participation;
3. not already be an active YouSet client; and
4. meet the requirements set out below.

Qualifying Action: To participate in the Promotion, the Referee must complete a quote and proceed to checkout using the Referrer’s unique referral link. A checkout is the final step of the quoting process and includes all the additional information required, such as the effective date of the policy and payment information, so we can verify the quote. Completing checkout does not mean a purchase has been made or a policy activated. No purchase required. The Referrer’s unique referral link must be used by the Referee to join the promotion. If the Referee doesn’t use the Referrer’s unique referral link, we won’t honour the Promotion.

Gift Card Values and Combinations: Both the Referrer and Referee may earn an Amazon gift card based on the product quoted and completed through checkout:

1. Homeowners insurance: $75
2. Car insurance: $25
3. Condo insurance: $25
4. Tenant insurance: $25

If the Referee completes a bundle quote (home, tenant, or condo plus car insurance) and proceeds to checkout for both products, the Referrer and the Referree will be compensated for each product, for a total of up to $100.

There is no limit to the number of referrals a Referrer may make. Gift card rewards are applied per eligible referral as described above.

Gift Card Delivery: As described in Gift Card Values and Combinations, eligible participants will receive an Amazon gift card (the “Gift Card”) corresponding to the product(s) completed by the referred participant. You will be notified by email when a referred participant uses your unique referral link to complete a quote and proceed to checkout. Following review and verification by YouSet, and subject to approval at YouSet’s sole discretion, both you and the referred participant will receive the Gift Card in Canadian currency via the email address associated with your account and used to complete the quote. The full process, including review, approval, and delivery of the Gift Cards, may take up to thirty (30) days.

General: YouSet reserves the right to cancel, amend, withdraw or restrict this Promotion at any time without notice. YouSet is the sole arbiter of these rules and any other issue arising under this Promotion. If YouSet suspects fraudulent or abusive behaviour, gaming of the system or a violation of these terms, YouSet reserves the right to remove all Promotions from your YouSet account(s) and take any other action it deems appropriate including, but not limited to, refusing to send the Gift Card, or closing your YouSet account(s). This Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or promotions, unless specified herein. An invitation to participate in this Promotion does not provide assurance that you will be accepted as a customer of YouSet. This Promotion is only valid for individuals in the location cited above who otherwise meet our eligibility requirements. Our standard terms relating to your use of YouSet and any agreements that apply to your YouSet account(s) each apply and are not affected in any way by this Promotion.
